Collision repair is a professional service — not a product you can return to a shelf. At Viet Auto Collision, we stand behind our work with a lifetime workmanship warranty on qualifying repairs, a clear rework process if something isn't right, and transparent policies for deposits, cancellations, and insurance-paid work.
This policy explains how we handle warranty claims, repair quality concerns, deposit refunds, billing adjustments, and insurance-related payments. It applies to all auto body repair, paint and refinishing, frame work, dent removal, insurance claim assistance, and detailing services performed at our Garden Grove facility.
Qualifying repairs performed by Viet Auto Collision are covered by our lifetime workmanship warranty for as long as you own the vehicle. If a defect in our repair workmanship is discovered, we will re-repair the affected area at no charge.
Not covered: New collision damage, normal wear and tear, environmental paint oxidation, improper washing or chemical exposure after delivery, pre-existing conditions unrelated to our repair, or issues caused by parts failure covered under a separate manufacturer warranty.
Parts installed during your repair carry the warranty provided by the manufacturer or supplier — not a separate Viet Auto Collision parts warranty.
If a warranted part fails, we will assist with the manufacturer or supplier claim process. Labor to reinstall a defective warranted part may be covered depending on the supplier's terms.
Because repair work involves labor, materials, and often insurance coordination, cancellation and refund eligibility depends on how far the repair has progressed:
For repairs covered by an insurance claim, payment and any adjustments are handled according to your insurer's claims procedures.
For customer-pay or partial out-of-pocket repairs:
We encourage you to inspect your vehicle carefully at pickup. Our team walks through completed work with you and answers any questions before you drive away.
If you notice a concern after pickup — paint inconsistency, panel alignment, or another issue you believe is related to our workmanship — contact us promptly. We will schedule an inspection and, if the issue falls under our workmanship warranty, perform rework at no charge.
Important: Driving away after a satisfactory final inspection generally confirms acceptance of the repair. Issues reported later are still welcome and will be evaluated under this policy and our workmanship warranty.
Detailing, interior cleaning, and other non-structural add-on services are considered complete upon delivery. If you are not satisfied with a detailing service, notify us within 24 hours of pickup and we will make reasonable efforts to address the concern — such as re-performing the service or offering a partial credit when appropriate.
